The objective of the SIMCON research group is the study of the microscopic properties of liquids and solids by computer simulation. This methodology allow us a deeper undertanding of the basis of the properties of matter at atomic level. The systems now on study are, among others, molten salts, molecular liquids, ionic solutions, defects in crystalline metals, and quantum matter.  The properties analysed are, basically, the structure and non-electronic transport properties in classic liquids and solids, the characteristics of the defects in crystals, and the thermodynamic and structural properties in quantum matter.
